Square Inch Price
I charge 2.5 cents per square inch for most designs.
Example: A quilt top is 60 inches x 80 inches. 60 x 80 = 4800 x .025 = $120.

Some much more dense designs will be 3 cents per square inch.
My minimum quilting charge is $50. This means that a small quilt or table runner's square inch price will be rounded up to the $50 minimum.
Batting
I use and stock my favorite Hobbs in the 80/20 cotton/poly blend. I have batting in 96 wide in a neutral color and 108 wide in a white color.
Batting is a separate charge and is NOT included in the square inch price.
I charge for batting by the linear inch from rolls of batting 96 or 108 inches wide. I will use only what is needed for your quilt (smallest side + a 5" margin) and charge per inch.
For example, if you have a 60" x 80" quilt, I would cut 65" of the batting of your choice.
65" of 80/20 cotton/poly blend neutral color @ $0.35/in = $22.75
65" of 80/20 cotton/poly blend white color @ $0.38/in= $24.70

Pantographs
I have several pantographs available. If you would like to pick something together, I can give you a some of options after I have seen your quilt. If you are interested in something I do not have, I would be willing to split the cost of the pantograph with you. Most pantographs range from $10-$18 per design. Here are some additional websites to look for pantographs.
Thread
I stock neutral thread colors in a 40 weight thread, which is included in the per inch price of quilting.
My personal style attempts to match or blend thread color with the lighter areas of your quilt. But this is YOUR quilt! Let me know if you have a preference on thread color I would be happy to use a specific non neutral thread color for a $5 thread charge.
Photography
I'm not a professional photographer but I do my best to take "nice" photos with my "good" camera! :) Upon completion of the quilting, I will take photos of your quilt in my well-lit studio and then text/email you those images to use however you would like. I'd just ask that you credit me for the photo and/or quilting if posting publicly. This extra service is included in your square inch price.
Shipping
Shipping your top and backing to me: I live in Minnesota, USA, and would be happy to receive your top and backing by mail. I'd recommend sending your materials enclosed in some kind of sack or bag to protect against possible moisture in transit and then placed in a hard-sided cardboard box. Make sure the box is securely taped and labeled clearly.
Return shipping: I will send your quilt back to you in the manner described above via USPS Priority mail (using flat rate when possible/economical). Priority mail comes with $100 of insurance and a tracking number but please indicate on your intake form if you would like me to buy any additional insurance on your behalf. It's a great idea to insure your valuables against loss or damage while with the Postal Service, but I don't require it.
Other Costs
As mentioned above, batting is not included in the square inch price. I'm required by the State of Minnesota to collect a 7.12% sales tax on the quilting service and batting portion of the invoice. Shipping and any design/pantograph fees are not subject to sales tax if outside the state of Minnesota.
